Topics: Fundamentals of Electromagnetics, Transmission Lines, Antennas

In all applications of electrical engineering we use structures that can either guide or radiate electromagnetic waves. After introducing the fundamentals of electromagnetic theory, this course deals with the theory and practice of transmission lines (guiding structures) and antennas (radiating structures). The study goals are to gain familiarity with the transmission line and antenna typical parameters and to be able to solve problems involving transmission lines, matching, antenna radiation and antenna links.
