Biography

Darwin Blanco received the Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Antioquia, Medellín, Colombia, in 2009, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. (summa cum laude) degrees in multimedia and communications from the University Carlos III de Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 2011 and 2014, respectively.

From 2015 to 2016, he was Postdoc at the University of Rennes 1, Rennes, France. He is currently postdoc in the Terahertz Sensing Group of Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands. His current research interests include leaky wave antennas and metasurfaces to be used in applications for phased array antennas, polarizers and filters.
