Nishita Anand

I joined the Terahertz Sensing Group in November 2025 to begin my thesis on acoustic imaging of the heart for estimating and assessing cardiac biomarkers. My home department is Electrical Engineering, where I follow the Signals and Systems track. My research interests include optimization, and signal processing for biomedical applications.

Outside of academics, I enjoy working out and going on long biking trips.
